The Sound Devices 664 is a professional 12 input, 16 track mixer and recorder with some of the best preamps in the industry. It has an integrated high quality Ambient timecode generator and can record 24-bit mono and poly BWAV files to CF and SD media simultaneously.

Our 664 kit is supplied as a production ready field kit, with a K-Tek Stingray audio bag, battery distribution system and battery meter from Remote Audio, two NP-style batteries from IDX to power the mixer and compatible audio receivers, and a variety of interconnecting cables (see the complete includes list).

### Inputs
The 664 has six mic/line level, full size XLR3F inputs. An additional six line level inputs (7 - 12) can be enabled by switching the direct outputs (TA3) to inputs. Inputs 1 and 6 can accept digital AES42 or AES3 signals.

### Outputs
The 664 has four pairs of balanced analog output connections for the Master Bus (XLR-3M, TA3, and 2
Hirose 10-pin), and one pair of balanced analog outputs for the Aux Bus (TA3). There are also
two stereo unbalanced outputs for the Master Bus (TA3 and 3.5mm Tape Outputs).

The Track E is a small 32-bit float audio recorder with a 3.5mm input jack and internal 16GB micro-SD card. An omni-directional microphone, mic clip and wind jammer are also included in the kit.

You can simply turn the Track E on and start recording without worrying about setting audio gain. The 32-bit float files allow you to adjust the audio levels as required in post without worrying about any clipping or raising the noise floor (using a compatible editor, such as Adobe Audition).

When recording audio for video, you can easily sync with one or more cameras on a Tentacle network using the Tentacle apps.

The Track E has an internal battery that is good for around 10 hours of recording. To transfer audio files, you can either remove the micro-SD card or connect the entire unit to a computer via the integrated USB-C port.

The new Zoom H6 is a portable, flexible field audio recorder that records up to 6 channels simultaneously to an SD card. Records both broadcast WAV and MP3 files - the former at up to 96kHz / 24-bit.

The preamps in the H6 have been redesigned to lower the noise floor, resulting in cleaner recordings when compared to the earlier Zoom H4N model.

## Inputs / Outputs
Aside from the X/Y mic, the H6 has four mic/line inputs via XLR/TRS combo connectors. Each input has its own dedicated gain control and -20dB pad.

As for outputs, the H6 has a 1/8" unbalanced stereo line out for the analog stereo output mix as configured using the internal mixer of the H6. The USB port outputs either a digital stereo mix, or output of the six individual inputs. There's also a 1/8" headphone output for monitoring the stereo output signal.

## Power
The H6 is powered by 4 AA batteries and runs for about 10 hours with no phantom power.You can also power the recorder via its USB port for longer duration recording.
