Sound Devices 664 Mixer / Recorder Kit
The Sound Devices 664 is a professional 12 input, 16 track mixer and recorder with some of the best preamps in the industry. It has an integrated high quality Ambient timecode generator and can record 24-bit mono and poly BWAV files to CF and SD media simultaneously.
Our 664 kit is supplied as a production ready field kit, with a K-Tek Stingray audio bag, battery distribution system and battery meter from Remote Audio, two NP-style batteries from IDX to power the mixer and compatible audio receivers, and a variety of interconnecting cables (see the complete includes list).
Inputs
The 664 has six mic/line level, full size XLR3F inputs. An additional six line level inputs (7 - 12) can be enabled by switching the direct outputs (TA3) to inputs. Inputs 1 and 6 can accept digital AES42 or AES3 signals.
Outputs
The 664 has four pairs of balanced analog output connections for the Master Bus (XLR-3M, TA3, and 2 Hirose 10-pin), and one pair of balanced analog outputs for the Aux Bus (TA3). There are also two stereo unbalanced outputs for the Master Bus (TA3 and 3.5mm Tape Outputs).
