The Canon EOS C500 Mark II is a large format, 5.9K sensor camera. It has an interchangeable lens mount so you can use either Canon EF or ARRI PL mount lenses. It has support for anamorphic desqueeze for 1.3x and 2x anamorphic lenses.
The 38.1mm x 20.1mm CMOS sensor has a rated dynamic range of 15 stops. The camera can record in 10 or 12 bit Cine RAW light, or 10 bit XF-AVC up to 60 fps. Higher frame rates - up to 120fps at 2K resolution - can be achieved by cropping in on the sensor.
Dual Pixel Autofocus adds versatility for small crews and documentary work, where focus pulling is difficult or simply not practical.
The C500 MKII has a touch monitor that is similar to the C200, but it is larger and brighter. To make it more versatile for use with gimbals etc, there is no integrated EVF on the back of the camera body as there is on the C300 Mark II and C200. This improves clearance at the back of the camera.
This EVF production kit includes the Canon EVF-V70 OLED EVF. This places the EVF in a more ergonomic position, and is ideal for use outdoors or in any other situation where an EVF is preferable.
Also included in this kit is the EU-V2 expansion unit, with an integrated v-mount battery plate, and four 150Wh v-mount batteries.
We also have a cheaper C500 II base kit if you don't need the EVF or EU-V2 expansion.
