TLS Petzval Image Circles & Sensor Coverage
This article describes sensor coverage for each lens in our TLS Petzval lens set. We look at LF open gate, 4.3K LF 16:9, 3.8K LF 16:9 and Alexa Mini open gate.

The Petzval lenses have a large image circle, so they easily cover LF open gate and all smaller area formats. The video shows that coverage is not obviously affected when focus is racked, as it can be on some lenses with an image circle that does not cover LF open gate.
