Sony was late to the game with their first foray into the world of ultra-fast lenses but the Sony 50mm f/1.2 has knocked it out of the park and is quite a technical achievement due to its size compared to its competitors.
The lens has great depth of field wide open and very pleasing bokeh which can be hard to achieve with aspheric lenses.
It has some nice features that a lot of the G Master range have such as a manual aperture ring and the option to turn the aperture click on and off.
There is an assignable button that by default is your focus lock but this can be reassigned in your camera.
