The Rode VideoMic pro is a small form factor shotgun mic ideal for use with camcorders and DSLRs. Being a shotgun mic, it is well suited to isolating dialogue and the 3.5mm mini-jack works directly these types of cameras and audio recorders that may not have XLR audio inputs.
