The Rode NTG3 is a supercardioid shotgun microphone designed for professional use in film, television, and electronic news gathering productions. The RF bias design means it is resistant to moisture, making it ideal when recording in environments where condensation might be an issue.
The NTG-3 is the premium directional microphone from Rode and has very low self-noise and handling noise, a high level of immunity to RF interference, a warm quality and full frequency response.
Must be powered by 48V phantom power. Unlike the NTG-2, the NTG-3 does not have an AA battery compartment.
