Canon XF405 Kit

The Canon XF405 is a compact and easy to use 4K UHD camcorder with an integrated 15X optical zoom lens (25.5-382.5mm equivalent in 35mm terms) and a comparatively large 1-inch sensor. It also records to easy to handle and widely available SD media.

The XF405 camera is ideal for a wide variety of experience levels. In full auto you can simply point the camera, press record and the camera will take care of the settings for you. Or if you want to finesse your footage some more, the manual control options let you achieve your desired look.

Audio recording is simple with an integrated 2 channel microphone and the ability to use external professional or prosumer microphones via the 3.5mm or two XLR inputs.

The camcorder features multiple focusing modes - from a manual focus ring to full auto with the help of Canon Dual Pixel autofocus. The XF405 also has facial tracking to ensure your subject always stays in focus even when moving around the frame.

The optical image stabilisation is also a huge strength of this camera and works great in conjunction with the autofocus, even at maximum zoom.
