Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM

If you are shooting on a Canon mirrorless camera and you can only use one lens, this is the lens you want.

24-70mm is widely considered the most versatile focal length, but there was always a compromise in previous generations of this lens - you could either have a fast lens without image stabilisation, or a slower lens with image stabilisation. This compromise does not exist with the RF 24-70mm as Canon has figured out how to have both.

This lens is perfect for both photography and videography as it is sharp, has a great zoom range and has snappy autofocus.
