Do I need a manual or wireless follow focus?
A manual follow focus is simple and reliable for static or operator-pulled setups. A wireless system lets a dedicated focus puller work from a distance — essential for gimbal, crane and Steadicam work. See our ECS lens-control range or ask us what suits your shoot.
How do I hire gear from Offshoot Rentals?

Is hired equipment insured?
You are responsible for the gear while it's in your care, so we recommend production or hirer's insurance for the replacement value of the kit. If you're unsure what cover you need for a particular package, get in touch and we'll talk it through before your shoot.
Do you offer weekend rates?
Yes. A weekend hire (collected Friday afternoon and returned Monday morning) is charged as a single day, so you get the weekend's shooting for one day's rate.
Can you deliver, or is it pickup only?
Pickup from our Preston facility is the default and is free. We can also arrange delivery and courier options — ask us for a delivery quote.
